The Problem

What needed solving

Hub.xyz needed a marketplace platform where advertisers could create promotional campaigns ("Pumps"), discover and hire crypto-native creators, negotiate through counter offers, and track campaign performance — all powered by on-chain payments and Squad Key trading. The product served three distinct user types (advertisers, creators, squad members) with complex interconnected flows spanning campaign creation, payment processing, wallet integration, notifications, analytics, and profile management across desktop and mobile.

The Constraints

Rules I worked within

01

Must serve three user types — advertisers creating Pumps, creators accepting offers, and squad members trading keys — each with dedicated flows and notifications.

02

Payment system required Solana wallet integration with insufficient/sufficient balance handling, transaction summaries, and publishing workflows.

03

Counter offer and negotiation system needed real-time messaging between advertisers and creators with offer cards and status tracking.

04

11 functionality test suites (onboarding, AI match, payments, squad keys, notifications, streak bonus) had to pass before production approval.

Full marketplace
End-to-End Flows

Delivered complete user journeys for Pump creation → Creator discovery → Hiring → Counter offers → Payment → Publishing → Analytics — with wallet integration and squad key mechanics.

Key Takeaway

A marketplace is only as strong as its weakest flow — when advertisers, creators, and squad members all depend on each other, every broken interaction breaks the whole ecosystem.
