The Problem

What needed solving

The Japanese music industry lacked a meaningful bridge between traditional Web2 platforms and emerging Web3 technologies. Artists had no accessible way to leverage NFTs for community building, contests, or monetization — and fans had no unified platform to discover, support, and invest in independent musicians. Fuzic needed a full product identity and experience designed from zero to launch-ready.

The Constraints

Rules I worked within

01

Must appeal to both Web2-native music fans unfamiliar with crypto and Web3-savvy early adopters.

02

Brand identity had to resonate with Japanese aesthetics while maintaining global appeal.

03

Landing page needed to be self-built and launched quickly using Webflow for rapid iteration.

04

Design system had to support music contests, NFT galleries, artist profiles, and community features within a single coherent experience.

Key Takeaway

When bridging Web2 and Web3, the design must make the unfamiliar feel intuitive — hiding blockchain complexity behind experiences users already understand.
